Dwarf Scavenger

To begin your quest to become a Scavenger, you must speak with Collector Pipi first. She is the building that is next to the blacksmith's shop. She will give you a letter of introduction to bring to Trader Mion, who is in the magic shop in the South of the village. Mion is Master Toma's sister, and she will let you know how to find her brother.

Mion will ask you to make some deliveries to local area merchants first. She will make you do up to 5 errands for no appearent reason. Once you complete her tasks she will give you a letter to her brother, as well as instructions on how to find him.

Dwarf Scavenger quest

Master Toma likes to wander around Dwarven Island, exploring the area. He can be in one of the three locations:
1) The North entrance of the Mythril mines
2) Bottom of the spiral staircase, coming from the North entrance of the Coal Mines
3) On a small island off the North shore .(Beware of some high level lizardmen around that area)

Master Toma map

Once you find Master Toma, he will ask you to bring him some honey from Honey Bears.

Master Toma will direct you to hunt the bears in the mines, but do not be fooled. Bears like the fresh area and the open fields - they do not live in the mines. In fact the easiest way to find the bears you need is to go back to town, and have the gatekeeper teleport you to the North Shore. It will drop you right at the spot with plenty of bears. The trip costs only 700 adena, but if you are short on cash - just run there.

Master Toma Honey Bear

You will need to kill some (20-30) Hunter Bears first, to see a Honey Bear. You do need to spoil (but do not need to sweep) the Honey Bear to get a Honey Jar. Prepare to spend some time - you will need at least 5 jars to appease Toma's sweet tooth.

Honey Bear Hunter Bear map honey jar

Once you have collected the honey, bring it back to Toma. Remember - he might have moved from the spot you last saw him, so it would make sense to ask around if anyone seen him.

Master Toma will have more tasks for you, this time the challenge will be a tad harder. He will ask you to collect 20 Beads from the Tarantulas. You will need to find Hunter or Plunder Tarantulas, to the E/ NE of the bear region. The Tarantulas should be something you can handle, but it doesn't hurt to bring a friend. You don't have to spoil and sweep the Tarantulas in order to get a Bead, but if you are hunting with a friend, make sure you do damage to the creature. Otherwise you will never get any beads!

Hunter tarantula quest item

Head back to Master Toma once you have the 20 beads so he can instruct you on your next challenge. This time he will give you a bead parcel to bring to the Warehouse Keeper Raut in the village of Gludin. Get your supplies, including some scrolls of escape and head to Gludin! You are almost finished.

Master Toma quest item

As it usually happens - you will be asked to do more chores, and Raut will ask you to bring a scroll of escape (not usable) to his nephew who ventured into the far reaches of the land in search of sales opportunities. In short - you will have the oppurtunity to travel to the Valley of the Dragons, and find a dwarf to give him the scroll.

Warehouse Keeper Raut scroll of escape

I know it sounds pretty dangerous, but don't fret - you can take a road right to the spot where the dwarf is, and simply avoid the creatures that inhabit the area. You will find Torai, standing by the road in the West edge of the Valley.

Torai

Torai will give you a set of Succubus underwear (no, you cannot keep them) to bring back to Raut. Now would be a good time to get yourself to safety, and travel back to Gludin.

quest item torai

Once you bring back the Undies to Raut, he will give you a Ring of the Raven. When you are level 20, give it to Warehouse Chief Moke (in the same Warehouse) in Gludin. Voila! You are now a scavenger. Enjoy exploring and finding new and improved goods and profits!

Dwarf Artisan

You made it. It wasn’t easy was it? Well, I am here to guide you through your biggest challenge yet. The path to the Artisan profession.

I would recommend you start this at lvl 19 and just work your way through the level while doing the quest. You can complete it, then class transfer after you hit 20.

Dwarf Artisan

The NPC you need to visit first will be in the Dwarf village, Blacksmith Silvera. She will tell you that to become an Artisan, you must receive recognition from 3 Blacksmiths that have been Artisans for a long time. First, complete this task to receive the first certificate.

1. Talk to Blacksmith Silvera. She will give you Silvery's Ring.

Dwarf village

Hunt Boogle Ratman (lvl 16 passive) to collect 10 Boogle Ratman Tooth and Boogle Ratmen Leaders (lvl 18 passive) to collect 2 Boogle Ratman Leader's Big Tooth. They can be found in the Abandonned Coal Mines.

Boogle Ratman

They are pretty far down in the mine, and you will have to go through some aggro Ore Bats and Opal Beasts. Bring plenty of heal potions and at least 1 escape scroll.

Ore Bat

Give the teeth to Blacksmith Silvery. She will give you the 1st Pass Certificate.

Use the gatekeeper to teleport to Gludin.

2. Talk to Blacksmith Kludo at the smithy in the southwest quadrant of town, and he will give you Kluto's Letter. Make sure you answer the second choice; you are just here to perform a task. You don’t care about his son. If you answer the other way, you may get stuck.

He will tell you that you cannot do the task yet, you must collect some things so he sends you off to Gludio.

Gludio

3. Go to Gludio and talk to Blacksmith Pinter at the smithy, near the west exit. He takes the letter and gives you "Footprint of Thief." You need to hunt Vuku Orc Fighters (lvl 17 aggressive) until you get a Stolen Secret Box. They should be fairly easy for you.

Vuku Orc Fighter

Give the box and footprint to Blacksmith Pinter, and he will give you the Secret Box2 and 2nd Pass Certificate.

4. Return to Gludin, and give the box and certificates to Blacksmith Kludo. This again, is a multiple choice, tricky part. You need to select the first choice, “You have no idea, what to do with this stuff” option, then Kludo will admit he was just testing your loyalties. He will then reward your efforts with the final letter.

Blacksmith Kludo

10. When you reach level 20, talk to Head Blacksmith Tapoy, back in Gludin to become an Artisan. Congratulations, and welcome to the Black Anvil Guild.

Orc Shaman

Note: All locations are in X,Y format and can be seen by typing /loc in chat bar.

1) Talk to Tataru Zu Hestui who is located in the Orc Village standing beside the castle. Click through the dialogue, and he will tell you to kill 3 Mobs.

A) Kasha Bear mobs will eventually yield a Kasha Bear Pelt and can be found pretty much anywhere North/South East on the map

B) The Kasha Blade Spider mobs can be found just South East along the path from the frozen waterfall.

C) The Scarlet Salamander mobs will give you a firey egg and can be found in the first room of the Cave of Trials (Be careful as they tend to bunch up and are social agro)

2) Head back to Tataru Zu Hestui once you obtain all 3 items. Hell make you a mask and ask you to find the Hestui Totem Spirit. Just run towards the beginner area through the castle and when you get to Bearded keltir area head to your left. The spirit is against a wall Loc ( 494, -109 )

3) After clicking through dialogue the spirit will ask you to return to Tataru Zu Hestui who will in turn send you to Gludin to talk to the Seer Usma.

4) The Seer Usma is located left of the Magic shop in Gludin Village Loc( 803, 153) He will then give you a cauldron filled with blood and tell you to find the Duda-Mara totem spirit.

5) The Duda-Mara totem spirit can be found just north of Gludin at Loc( -861, 136) It will tell you to go kill either Arachnid Trackers or Poison Spiders, Poison Spiders are easy to find South of Gludin. Be careful though as some Arachnids are mixed in and these are agro, but the Poisons are passive. Bring along some antidotes as amazingly enough, they sometimes use a poison attack.

6) After killing average of 15-30 or so, a Durka spirit will spawn and attack you, you need to kill this in order to capture it.

7) Return to the Duda-Mara, hell send you back to the Seer Usma in Gludin Village.

8) Talk to the seer one more time and he`ll give you the mask of Medium

9) Once you`re level 20 talk to the High Prefect Osboin to become a Shaman!

Orc Monk

(An important note to accompany this guide : If at ANY point during your quest to obtain the scrolls you use a method of combat other than bare fists or combat weapons (combat weapons in L2 are defined as Cestus, Viper's Claws, Fox Nails, etc.), you will be disqualified from that trophy round and need to start over again. To prevent undue agitation, I suggest not using any weapon save whatever claws you're using at the moment.)

When one wears the badge of a 19th circle fighter-initiate, it is considered an appropriate time for said fighter to take the trials of the Monk. In order to do so, the Orc, who I shall refer to from this point on as the Candidate, must return to his home town of Elmore and visit Gantaki Zu Urutu. Master Gantaki can be found outside of the Weapons and Armor shop in the South Eastern corner of town. Gantaki requests that you bring him what is known as the Fiery Spirit Scroll. This is one of two scrolls you will need to acquire to complete your quest to become a Monk.

In order to procure this scroll for Gantaki, he suggests that you visit Khavatari Rosheek, and this requires a long trek out to the Frozen Waterfall area.

Once you arrive, you will find Master Rosheek out on the ice. He will instruct you to find and kill three specific beasts, and obtain trophies from them. You may start by killing the Kasha Bear that are all around you on the lake. After killing 5 of them, return to Rosheek, and he will give you another purse, with which I urge you to head off the lake and east along the bridge towards the Kasha Blade Spider. Killing 5 Blade Spiders and gathering 5 trophies from them, you must again return to lonely Rosheek again to receive the third and final purse.

Scarlet Salamanders are found exclusively in the Cave of Trials, where all of Orcdom is said to have originated. Be warned that the Cave of Trials (CoT for short) is inhabited by vicious Dark Elf zombies . While in the cave, do not bother to kill Scarlet Salamander Elder, as they are tough to kill, and also will not yield the trophy you seek. Take in the surroundings just long enough to kill 5 regular Scarlet Salamander, and then return to Rosheek for the very last time. Bid him farewell after obtaining your Fiery Scroll, and return to Gantaki Zu Urutu, who you will still find loitering outside of the weapons shop.

Gantaki Zu Urutu will tell you to visit the town of Gludin, and find Prefect Kasman. After using a gatekeeper token , the candidate will find himself at the Village of Gludin. Master Kasman can be found just east of the town's warehouse. He will ask that you bring a Pomegranate to Khavatari Toruku.

Khavatari Toruku resides north of Gludin just before the road forks to the east and west. He joyfully accepts the treat from Kasman, as he has been without food for a number of days and sends you off on another quest for the teeth of various creatures. Killing Vuku Orc Fighters you might as well save for last of the four, and escape back to Gludin. To the SE of Gludin you might notice a patch of windmills, Felim Warriors will be found here scattered through the mills. Kill three of these, and move just past the windmills where you will notice some burned out ruins, and therein several Ratman Hunters or Ratman Warriors. After killing three (or five) of the Ratman Hunters or Ratman Warriors, head due West across the road, and there along the cliffs affronting the ocean, you will find Langk Lizardmen Warrior. At this point you should now have 3 (or 5) trophies from each of the 3 creature-types you have killed thus far.

Now head back to Gludin and back in the direction of Toruku. Just before you arrive at Toruku, recall that you must still kill three Vuku Orc Fighters. Do this, return to Toruku, and receive the second scroll.

Use another scroll of escape, or run back to town to visit Kasman, who will congratulate you for obtaining both scrolls and give you a Khavatari Totem. When you have acquired your badge of the 20th Circle of Power, you may visit High Prefect Osborn who also resides in the town of Gludin right next to Prefect Kasman.

Congratulations Orc Candidate, you are now a Monk! I now urge you to summon me, Fett to your location, where I shall present you with three slaves of your choosing.

Orc Rider

If you enjoy the noise of the battle, the feel of steel in your hand, the war cries of your friends and the dying moans of your enemies - then you were born to become an Orc Raider. Only the bravest and most skilled of the orcs can be honored with such a title. You will have to prove yourself against countless opponents and show to your masters that you are ready to become another in a heralded line of orcish heros.

You must be at least level 19 to begin your test. If you would like to begin - head over to prefect Karukia in the orcish village. She will tell you about the profession and will start you off with the first test.

The first test involves proving your courage to your orcish brothers and sisters. The Prefect will give you a map (unusable item) that will give you the locations of goblins and their leader - the kuruka ratman. You have to ways to do this part of your quest - fast but with less experience and challenge, or the longer way resulting in more SPs you can use later on. You can kill ANY goblins in order to complete the quest. If time is your concern - and it might be a factor - you can use the lowest of goblin grave robbers right outside of the village. You need to kill at least 25-30 goblins before a kuruka ratman leader will come out. You will need to kill 10 ratmen (and get a tooth from each - automatic) to complete this portion of the quest. Once you are finished- bring the teeth back to Prefect Karukia.

The second task will be to prove your loyalty to your people. The Prefect will explain that some of the orcs have defected into the human lands or Gludio region. You will have to find at least 2 of them and bring their heads to Prefect Kasman in the Gludin village. Karukia will give you two reports of random betrayer orcs. You must kill each one just once to get their heads. The betrayers are not very challenging , but some of them do hide out in the areas that might be less then safe for your skill level. But since the danger and challenge is a bonus to an Orc Raider- you will have no problems!

A Orc Betrayer Heitafu - location
B Orc Betrayer Bumbum - location
C Orc Betrayer Picubo - location
D Orc Betrayer Umbar - location
E Orc Betrayer Chewba - location
F Orc Betrayer Zakan - location
G Orc Betrayer Wanuk - location
H Orc Betrayer Chuchu - location
I Orc Betrayer Minsku - location

Orc Raider

Once you have killed the betrayers and got their heads, bring them back to Prefect Kasman in Gludin. He will give you a Raider's token that you can turn to Prefect Osborn to change your title to Raider. Remember- you must be at least level 20 to become a Raider

Dark Elf Shillien Oracle

The quest starts by going to Gludio Castle Town and talking to Magister Sidra in the Dark Elf guild. She will ask you if you wish to become a Shillien Oracle and if so, to bring her two books, the Book of Gramiel and the Book of Andariel. She then tells you to go speak with Magister Talbot in Gludin to find out where these books can be located.

Travel to Gludin and talk to Magister Talbot in the Dark Elf Guild. He will then tell you about the book of Gramiel and explain that while the book does not exist, the pages for it can be found and that the blood of Succubi contain the information. He then gives a little history on why the Succubi have this knowledge, but ultimately tells you to go kill 5 Succubi and get the information. He tells you to go kill the Succubi by the entry route to the School of Dark Arts across from the entry area to the initiation alter.

Go to the area where the columns form a road going to the School of Dark Arts. Kill 5 Succubi there (the drop is 100% so you only need to kill 5).
Once you have your 5 letters, return to Gludin and give them to Magister Talbot. Magister Talbot will then create the book of Gramiel for you.
Magister Talbot then tells you that you need to talk to the Priest Adonius for the book of Andariel. Andonius is in the church in Gludin across the plaza from the Dark Elf guild.

Go speak with Priest Adonius, he will initially give you a hard time about Dark Elves not repententing their sins and such, but eventually he gives you the quest if you tell him you've seen the light. Adonius then tells you that he needs to you collect the ashen bones of the fallen to properly put them to rest. He says you can find these ashen bones from the Zombies at the Ruins of Despair. Run back to Gludio and then down to Ruins of Despair.
Kill 10 Soldier Zombies and/or Warrior Zombies. The Zombies are easily killed and slow like their cousins the Swamp Zombies and you can do this solo easily enough, just watch out for Ruin Imp Ribes and the Bats, both are agro and a lot faster than the Zombies.

Once you have collected your 10 ashen bones, return to Gludin and talk to Priest Adonius, he will take the bones from you and give you the book of Andariel. Return to Magister Talbot across the plaza and he will tell you to go talk with Magister Sidra again to turn in the books.

Return to Gludio and talk to Magister Sidra, she will take the books from you and give you the orb of the Abyss. Now, turn in the Orb of the Abyss to the Grandmanster across the room (once you are 20+) and welcome to the Order Shillien Oracle.

Dark Elf Wizzard

1) Talk to Varika at the Dark Elven Initiation Altar.

2) You must obtain 4 seeds. She gives you the seed of Despair and you can then choose 3 sub quests to obtain the others.

Seeds of Anger:

Go to the waterfall that is northeast of the Altar and talk to Chakeren. To satisfy this test, you need to recover their remains from the slaughter of Marsh Zombies, but finding the right ones that hold the 3 ashes you seek may take some time. He hands you a lucky key as a charm, and off you go.
He gives you a lucky key for good luck. Collect 3 Family's ashes from the marsh zombies and return them for the seeds of Anger.

Once recovered, return to him and he will extract the seed from his heart, that has burdened him for so long.

Seeds of Horror:

talk to Annika to the right of the entrance of the School of Dark Arts.

School of Dark Arts

She will give you a candle. Collect two knee bones off of either: skeleton hunters, skeleton archers or misery skeletons. They are located within the first room of the dungeon. Return with the knees to get the seeds of Horror. ***note her name in the candle description is Annsery***

Seeds of Lunacy:

Talk to Arekenia next to Varika. She gives you the Hub Scent and directs you to kill scout skeletons. Go to Gludio Castle town and out down the west road. Take a left at the first fork, and they will be in the area on the right. Collect 3 hearts of lunacy. Return the hearts to Arekenia to receive the seeds of Lunacy.

3) Hand in all 4 seeds to Varika and she gives you a Jewel of Darkness. Hand this in to Grand Master Xenos in Gludin to change occupations to a Dark Wizard
